Pimag 300 mg / 300 mg / 80 mg per 7 ml

Indication

Antacid suspension for fast relief of gastric problems associated with hyperacidity, including stomach upset, nausea, flatulence and heartburn.

Ingredients

• Aluminium hydroxide dried gel
• Magnesium hydroxide
• Simethicone

Direction

Adult: 1-2 sachets, 3-4 times a day, shake before use. Children (6-12 years): 1 sachet, 3-4 times a day, shake before use. Take immediately when symptoms occur and repeat 30-60 minutes before or after meals and before bedtime.

Side effects

• May cause constipation
• diarrhoea
• vomiting. Symptoms usually disappear after stopping the medicine. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with serious kidney failure as it may cause hypermagnesaemia. Not recommended for treatment longer than 2 weeks unless advised by a physician. May affect absorption of tetracycline and cimetidine
