Indication

Treatment of acute infectious diarrhea in adults and children. Prevention and treatment of antibiotic-associated colitis and diarrhea. Adjunct to vancomycin or metronidazole to prevent recurrence of Clostridium difficile disease. Prevention of tube-feeding associated diarrhea. Treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.

Ingredients

• Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I
• 745 250 mg (lyophilized yeast cells)

Direction

Oral route, 1 to 2 sachets once or twice daily. Mix the powder with water or food before taking.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated
• rarely may cause minor digestive discomfort. Stop and consult a doctor if irritation or allergy occurs.
