Indication

Used to treat certain psychiatric disorders such as anxiety, agitation, and psychosis; also used as an adjunct in some functional gastrointestinal disorders.

Ingredients

• Sulpiride 50 mg

Direction

Oral route. Take as prescribed by a doctor; respect the prescribed doses.

Side effects

• May cause drowsiness
• movement disorders
• and rarely neuroleptic malignant syndrome (muscle rigidity
• unexplained fever
• sweating
• altered consciousness). Seek urgent medical advice if these occur.

Precautions

• Prescription
• only medicine (List I). Do not use during pregnancy except when no therapeutic alternative is available. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
