Duphalac 667 mg/ml

Indication

Constipation: regulation of the colonic physiological rhythm; softening of stool where of medical benefit (haemorrhoids, post colonic/anal surgery); treatment and prevention of hepatic encephalopathy.

Ingredients

• Lactulose 667 mg per ml

Direction

Oral solution. Adults: 15-45 ml daily starting dose, 15-30 ml maintenance. Children 7-14 years: 15 ml. Children 1-6 years: 5-10 ml. Infants under 1 year: up to 5 ml. Take as directed.

Side effects

• May cause bloating
• flatulence
• or abdominal discomfort
