Indication
- Monitoring blood glucose levels - Management of diabetes mellitus - Quantitative measurement of glucose in whole blood
Ingredients
- Glucose Oxidase and mediators (reagent strip)
Direction
Insert a test strip into the meter and apply a small blood sample to the tip of the strip. Results are typically displayed on the meter screen within seconds.
Side effects
- No pharmacological side effects
- Minor pain from finger pricking
- Localized bruising at lancing site
Precautions
- For in vitro diagnostic use only
- Keep vial tightly closed
- Do not use expired strips
- Do not reuse test strips
