Indication

Used to treat and prevent osteoporosis by strengthening bone and reducing the risk of fractures.

Ingredients

• Alendronate sodium USP equivalent to Alendronic acid 70 mg

Direction

Take one tablet once weekly as directed by the physician. See package insert for full prescribing information.

Side effects

• May cause abdominal pain
• heartburn
• or muscle and joint pain. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Take with a full glass of plain water on an empty stomach and remain upright for at least 30 minutes
• do not lie down afterward. Inform your doctor of any swallowing problems
• kidney disease
• or low blood calcium.
