Indication
Treatment and prevention of calcium deficiency states: rickets and malnutrition in children, osteoporosis in the elderly, and calcium supplementation for children during the growth phase, pregnant women or breast-feeding mothers.
Ingredients
- Calcium gluconate 500 mg
- Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 200 IU
Direction
Adults: 1 tablet twice daily. Children: 1 tablet once to twice daily. Treatment of rickets in children: 2 tablets twice daily. Treatment of osteoporosis in adults: 2 tablets 3 times daily, or as directed by the physician.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Contraindicated in hypersensitivity
- impaired renal function
- hypercalcaemia
- hypercalciuria and vitamin D poisoning.
