Augmentin 875 mg / 125 mg

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and ear, nose, and throat infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin 875 mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate)
• Clavulanic acid 125 mg (as potassium clavulanate)

Direction

As directed by the physician, usually one tablet twice daily.

Side effects

• Diarrhoea
• Nausea or vomiting
• Skin rash
• Vaginal or oral thrush (candidiasis)

Precautions

• Tell your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin or other antibiotics.
• Complete the full prescribed course even if you feel better.
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
