Indication

- Pinworm (Enterobius vermicularis) - Whipworm (Trichuris trichiura) - Large roundworm (Ascaris lumbricoides) - Common hookworm (Ancylostoma duodenale) - American hookworm (Necator americanus)

Ingredients

• Mebendazole

Direction

Take one 500mg tablet as a single oral dose. The tablet may be chewed, swallowed whole, or crushed and mixed with food.

Side effects

• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea
• Flatulence
• Dizziness
• Rare skin rash or hives

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 2
• Contraindicated during the first trimester of pregnancy
• Caution in patients with liver impairment
• Possible interaction with Cimetidine or Metronidazole
