Boska Paracetamol 500 mg + Caffeine 30 mg

Indication

Mild analgesic and antipyretic for treatment of headache, migraine, backache, toothache, rheumatic pain, dysmenorrhea, and symptoms of colds, influenza, and sore throat

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Caffeine 30 mg

Direction

Oral use. Adults (including elderly) and children aged 16 years and over: 1 to 2 tablets up to 4 times daily; do not repeat more frequently than every 4 hours; do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Children aged 12–15 years: 1 tablet up to 4 times daily; do not repeat more frequently than every 4 hours; do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated at recommended doses. Excessive intake may cause liver damage. Caffeine may cause insomnia or palpitations in sensitive individuals. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if severe or persistent side effects occur.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to paracetamol
• caffeine
• or any constituent. Avoid excessive intake of caffeine from other sources. Patients with renal or hepatic impairment should use with caution. Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist after 3 days. Stop use and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or allergic reaction occurs.
