Indication
Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever; rheumatic conditions.
Ingredients
- Acetylsalicylic acid
Direction
Adults: 1-2 tablets per dose, may repeat after 4 hours if necessary; max 6 tablets/day. Elderly: 1 tablet per dose, max 4 tablets/day. For rheumatic conditions: 2 tablets every 6 hours. Swallow whole with a large glass of water. Reserved for adults.
Side effects
- May cause gastrointestinal irritation
- nausea
- heartburn
- or bleeding. Rare serious effects include GI ulceration and bleeding. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Stop if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Not for children under 16 years (risk of Reye's syndrome). Avoid in patients with peptic ulcer
- bleeding disorders
- or aspirin hypersensitivity. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Stop if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
