Caltoux 5 mg/5 mL

Indication

Symptomatic relief of dry cough (Toux Seche).

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 5 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Child under 2 years: 2.5 mL (1 mg/kg/day) divided into 3-4 doses. Child 2-6 years: 2.5 mL every 4 hours, do not exceed 15 mL/day. Child 6-10 years: 5 mL every 4 hours, do not exceed 20 mL/day. Child 10-12 years: 5 mL every 4 hours, do not exceed 30 mL/day. Child 12-15 years: 10 mL every 4 hours, do not exceed 40 mL/day.

Side effects

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if you experience any adverse reactions. Stop use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Keep out of reach of children. Store below 30°C. Protect from light
• heat and humidity. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or worsen.
