Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to cefixime, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and otitis media. Lactic Acid Bacillus supports restoration of intestinal microflora during antibiotic therapy.
Ingredients
- Cefixime Trihydrate USP equivalent to Cefixime (Anhydrous) 100 mg
- Lactic Acid Bacillus 60 million spores
Direction
Disperse the tablet in a teaspoonful (5 ml) of boiled and cooled water immediately before administration. Take as directed by the physician.
Side effects
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Stop taking this medicine and seek medical advice if you experience skin rash
- diarrhoea
- nausea
- abdominal pain
- or any signs of allergic reaction.
Precautions
- Prescription only medicine — take only as directed by a physician.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have known penicillin allergy or renal impairment.
