Indication
- Oral candidiasis (thrush) - Fungal skin infections (intertrigo) - Minor cuts and scrapes - Superficial bacterial infections
Ingredients
- Gentian Violet (Methylrosaniline chloride)
Direction
Apply topically to the affected area using a cotton swab once or twice daily. Do not swallow if used for oral thrush unless directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Temporary purple skin staining
- Local skin irritation
- Mucosal sensitivity
- Allergic contact dermatitis
Precautions
- For external use only
- Stains skin and clothing permanently
- Do not use on deep wounds
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Do not use on ulcerative lesions
