Indication

Prevention of gout attacks, familial Mediterranean fever, pericarditis.

Ingredients

• Colchicine BP 1 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Dosage varies by age: adults 1 tablet per dose up to 3 times per 24 hours. Do not exceed 3 tablets per day. Swallow whole with water after food.

Side effects

• Pain in abdomen (stomach area)
• constipation
• diarrhoea
• nausea
• vomiting. Stop use and consult a doctor if signs of irritation or allergic reaction occur.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Do not use if allergic to colchicine
• with severe blood disorder
• severe kidney or liver problems
• or in pregnant/breastfeeding women. Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice.
