Desodin 2.5 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, and hay fever.

Ingredients

• Desloratadine BP 2.5 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Adolescents and Adults: 10 ml once daily. Children 6–11 years: 5 ml once daily. Children 2–5 years: 2.5 ml once daily. Dispense only on registered physician's prescription.

Side effects

• Antihistamines may cause drowsiness
• dry mouth
• or urinary retention in some patients. The elderly and children may be more susceptible to side effects. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse effect is observed. Stop use if irritation or allergy develops.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with prostatic hypertrophy
• urinary retention
• and hepatic disease. Antihistamines may be more susceptible to side effects in the elderly and children. To be dispensed only on registered physician's prescription. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Stop use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
