Indication

Treatment of hypercholesterolaemia and mixed dyslipidaemia; reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with coronary heart disease or multiple risk factors

Ingredients

• Atorvastatin calcium trihydrate

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usual starting dose: 10-20 mg once daily. May be taken at any time of day with or without food.

Side effects

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Stop taking this medicine and seek medical advice if you experience unexplained muscle pain

• or tenderness (especially with fever)
• signs of liver problems
• or allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Monitor liver function periodically. Stop if muscle pain or allergic reaction occurs.
