Indication
Treatment of hypercholesterolaemia and mixed dyslipidaemia; reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with coronary heart disease or multiple risk factors
Ingredients
- Atorvastatin calcium trihydrate
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usual starting dose: 10-20 mg once daily. May be taken at any time of day with or without food.
Side effects
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Stop taking this medicine and seek medical advice if you experience unexplained muscle pain
- weakness
- or tenderness (especially with fever)
- signs of liver problems
- or allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Monitor liver function periodically. Stop if muscle pain or allergic reaction occurs.
