Indication

Fast relief from hyperacidity, heartburn, flatulence, reflux oesophagitis, non-ulcer dyspepsia, and ulcer.

Ingredients

• Alginic Acid BP 200 mg
• Magnesium Hydroxide BP 250 mg
• Dried Aluminium Hydroxide BP 250 mg
• Dimethicone (Activated) BP 125 mg

Direction

Adults: 15 ml (one tablespoonful) twice daily; children: 5 ml (one teaspoonful) twice daily, or as directed by the physician. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated. Constipation or diarrhea may occur depending on the aluminium/magnesium balance. Prolonged use of high doses of aluminium
• containing antacids may cause phosphate depletion. Consult a healthcare professional if adverse effects persist.

Precautions

• Keep all medicines out of reach of children. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially in patients with kidney disease or those on a restricted magnesium or aluminium diet. Stop use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
