Metro-MS 250 250 mg

Indication

Treatment of amoebiasis (intestinal, asymptomatic, and hepatic), trichomoniasis, giardiasis, and certain anaerobic bacterial infections (Clostridium perfringens, Bacteroides fragilis).

Ingredients

• Metronidazole 250 mg

Direction

Dysentery: Children 30–50 mg/kg/day in 3 divided doses; Adults 1.5 g/day in 3 divided doses. Giardiasis: Children 15 mg/kg/day in 3 divided doses; Adults 750 mg/day in 3 divided doses. Trichomoniasis: Adults 2 g single dose. Do not exceed prescribed dose.
