Indication

Mucolytic agent used to reduce the viscosity of mucus secretions in acute and chronic respiratory tract disorders including bronchitis, bronchiectasis, and cystic fibrosis.

Ingredients

• Acetylcysteine

Direction

Dissolve one effervescent tablet in a glass of water and drink immediately. Use as directed by physician.

Side effects

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. May cause nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea
• or headache. Stop use and seek medical advice if allergic reaction or bronchospasm occurs.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Use with caution in patients with peptic ulcer disease or asthma. Store below 25°C in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
