Indication

Lipid lowering agent. Treatment of hypercholesterolaemia and mixed dyslipidaemia; reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with elevated total cholesterol and LDL-C.

• Rosuvastatin Calcium INN 10.40 mg equivalent to Rosuvastatin 10 mg

Side effects

• Myalgia
• headache
• constipation
• nausea
• abdominal pain
• rare: myopathy
• rhabdomyolysis. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if adverse effects occur. Stop if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor before use. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use with caution in patients with renal impairment or at risk of myopathy/rhabdomyolysis. Keep out of reach of children. Stop if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
