Indication

Treatment of signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Ingredients

• Tamsulosin hydrochloride USP 0.4 mg (as modified release pellets)

Direction

As directed by the physician. Typical dose: one 0.4 mg capsule once daily, taken approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.

Side effects

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if side effects occur. May include dizziness
• abnormal ejaculation
• rhinitis
• headache
• and orthostatic hypotension. Stop use and seek medical attention if priapism or serious allergic reaction develops.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Use with caution in patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment. May cause orthostatic hypotension (dizziness on standing). Stop use and consult a doctor if allergic reaction or serious adverse effects occur.
