Indication
Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, particularly in overweight patients, when diet and exercise alone do not provide adequate glycaemic control.
Ingredients
- Metformin Hydrochloride 1000 mg BP
Direction
As directed by the physician. Read pack insert before use.
Side effects
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if you experience nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhoea
- or abdominal pain
- especially at the start of treatment. Stop use and seek medical attention if signs of lactic acidosis or allergic reaction occur.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Not for use in type 1 diabetes or in patients with renal impairment. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation or allergic reaction occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 30°C. Protect from moisture.
