Pediasolvent 1.6 mg per ml

Indication

Treatment of chesty coughs with mucus; decreases sputum thickness and helps clear stubborn chest congestion.

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride

Direction

1–5 yrs: 1.25 ml 3 times/day. 6–12 yrs: 2.5 ml 3 times/day. Over 12 yrs and adult: 5–10 ml 3 times/day. Use only with syringe provided.

Side effects

• Mild gastrointestinal discomfort. Stop use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not exceed maximum daily dose of 0.75 mg/kg/day without consulting doctor. Not for injection. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if patient has bronchial asthma or gastric/duodenal ulcer.
