Zetro 200 mg/5 ml

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections including community-acquired pneumonia, pharyngitis, sinusitis, skin and soft tissue infections, and otitis media caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Azithromycin (as dihydrate) 200 mg per 5 ml

Direction

As directed by the physician. To prepare 15 ml suspension: add 7.5 ml boiled cooled water to the powder and shake well to dissolve the powder.

Side effects

• May cause gastrointestinal side effects including nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhea
• and abdominal pain. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse effect occurs or worsens.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Keep out of reach of children. Shake well before use. Keep cap tightly closed after use. Reconstituted suspension should be stored below 30°C and used within 10 days. Discard any unused suspension. For accurate measurement of dosage use the measuring device provided.
