Indication

Hydrocortisone Sodium Succinate for Injection USP. For IV or IM Injection. Used for conditions requiring corticosteroid therapy.

Ingredients

• Hydrocortisone Sodium Succinate 100 mg

Direction

For IV or IM Injection: prepare solution by aseptically adding not more than 2.0 ml of Sterile water for injection or sterile sodium chloride injection to the contents of one vial. Shake well. As directed by the Physician.

Side effects

• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if adverse reactions occur. Systemic corticosteroid side effects may include fluid retention
• hypertension
• and immunosuppression.

Precautions

• Use reconstituted solution only if it is clear and devoid of particulate matter. Reconstituted solution deteriorates on storage — use immediately after reconstitution. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
