Diclofénac BGR 1%

Indication

Local treatment of benign trauma (sprains, contusions); local adjunct for musculoskeletal and tendon-ligament pain; symptomatic treatment of painful osteoarthritis flares (after medical advice). For adults aged 15 years and above.

Ingredients

• Diclofenac diethylamine 1.16 g per 100 g gel (equivalent to diclofenac sodium 1 g)

Direction

Apply gel to the painful area by gentle prolonged massage on the painful or inflammatory region. Apply 2 to 3 times daily. Wash hands after application unless the site being treated is the hand. Do not apply over large body surface areas or under occlusive dressings.

Side effects

• Local skin reactions (redness
• rash
• itching
• burning) may occur. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if reactions persist or worsen.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in pregnancy. Do not apply to wounds or mucous membranes. Avoid contact with eyes. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
