Duphalac 667 mg/ml

Indication

Constipation: regulation of colonic physiological rhythm. When soft stool is of medical benefit (haemorrhoids, post colonic/anal surgery). Hepatic encephalopathy (HE): treatment and prevention of hepatic coma or precoma.

Ingredients

• Lactulose 667 mg/ml

Direction

Adults and adolescents: Starting dose 15-45 ml daily; maintenance dose 15-30 ml daily. Children (7-14 years): Starting 15 ml; maintenance 10-15 ml. Children (1-6 years): 5-10 ml. Infants under 1 year: up to 5 ml. Oral solution; adjust dose to obtain soft stools.
