Indication

Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea, including traveler's diarrhea.

Ingredients

• Loperamide Hydrochloride USP 2 mg

Direction

Adults: initial dose 2 capsules (4 mg), followed by 1 capsule (2 mg) after each loose stool. Maximum 8 capsules per day. As directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Stop use and seek medical advice if irritation
• allergy
• or unusual symptoms occur. May cause constipation
• dizziness
• and abdominal cramps.

Precautions

• Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in cases of bloody diarrhea or high fever. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Discontinue use if symptoms worsen or persist beyond 48 hours.
