Indication
- Major depressive disorder - Neuropathic pain management - Chronic tension-type headache prophylaxis - Migraine prophylaxis - Nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting) in children
Ingredients
- Amitriptyline Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally, usually once daily at bedtime due to sedative effects. The dosage should be adjusted individually by a physician.
Side effects
- Dry mouth
- Drowsiness and sedation
- Constipation
- Blurred vision
- Weight gain
- Orthostatic hypotension
Precautions
- Risk of suicidal ideation
- Avoid in recent myocardial infarction
- Use caution with narrow
- angle glaucoma
- Do not discontinue treatment abruptly
- Avoid alcohol consumption
- May cause cardiac conduction issues
