Cytopan 75 mg + 200 mcg

Indication

Relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in patients at high risk of developing NSAID-induced stomach or duodenal ulcers.

Ingredients

• Diclofenac sodium 75 mg
• Misoprostol 200 mcg

Direction

Adults: 1 tablet twice daily with food, or as prescribed by a doctor. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.

Side effects

• Diarrhoea
• abdominal pain
• nausea
• indigestion and flatulence
• rarely stomach bleeding
• raised liver enzymes or allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Not for use in pregnancy (misoprostol causes uterine contractions). Use with caution in patients with renal
• hepatic
• or cardiac impairment. Keep out of reach of children.
