Indication
- Nasal congestion from colds - Sinusitis symptoms - Hay fever relief - Allergic rhinitis - Facilitation of nasal examination
Ingredients
- Xylometazoline Hydrochloride
Direction
Administer as nasal spray or drops. Use 1 spray into each nostril up to 3 times daily as needed.
Side effects
- Nasal dryness or irritation
- Burning sensation in nose
- Sneezing
- Headache
- Local stinging sensation
Precautions
- Do not use for >7 days
- Risk of rebound nasal congestion
- Caution in cardiovascular disease
- Avoid in narrow
- angle glaucoma
- Monitor for rhinitis medicamentosa
