Duphalac 667 mg/ml

Indication

Constipation: regulation of the colonic physiological rhythm. Where soft stool is of medical benefit (haemorrhoids, post colonic/anal surgery). Hepatic encephalopathy: treatment and prevention of hepatic coma or precoma.

Ingredients

• Lactulose 667 mg/ml (667 g per 1000 ml)

Direction

For oral administration. Adults and adolescents: starting dose 15-45 ml daily, maintenance 15-30 ml daily; children 7-14 years 15 ml then 10-15 ml; children 1-6 years 5-10 ml then 5-10 ml; infants under 1 year up to 5 ml. Adjust to needs or as directed by a physician.
