Indication

Oral rehydration salts for the prevention and treatment of dehydration caused by diarrhoea, vomiting, or excessive fluid loss. WHO standard formula.

Ingredients

• Sodium Chloride BP 2.60 g
• Potassium Chloride BP 1.50 g
• Sodium Citrate BP 2.90 g
• Anhydrous Glucose BP 13.50 g

Direction

Dissolve the contents of one sachet of Orasel in 1 litre of clean drinking water. Use the prepared solution within 24 hours; discard any remainder and prepare fresh.
