Levopirid 25 mg

Indication

Treatment of functional dyspepsia and gastrointestinal motility disorders, including abdominal distention, epigastric discomfort, heartburn and belching. Levosulpiride is a prokinetic and antiemetic agent.

Ingredients

• Levosulpiride 25 mg

Direction

For oral use. Usual adult dosage is one tablet, three times daily before meals, or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Drowsiness and fatigue
• Galactorrhoea and menstrual changes (raised prolactin)
• Extrapyramidal symptoms with prolonged use
• Headache and dizziness

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

• Use with caution in patients with Parkinson's disease or prolactin
• dependent conditions.
