Indication

- Supply of amino acids for parenteral nutrition - Prevention of protein depletion - Electrolyte replacement during parenteral nutrition - Treatment of nutritional deficiencies when oral intake is impossible

Direction

Administered via intravenous infusion through a peripheral or central vein. The dosage and infusion rate are adjusted based on the patient's individual protein and fluid requirements.

• Localized vein irritation or thrombophlebitis

Precautions

• Severe liver or kidney failure
• Abnormalities of amino acid metabolism

• Fluid overload (hyperhydration)
