Indication

- Protein and energy supplementation - Pre- and post-operative nutritional support - Treatment of hypoproteinemia - General nutritional deficiencies - Malnutrition in hospital settings

Ingredients

• Amino Acids and Glucose (Dextrose)

Direction

Administer by slow intravenous infusion. The dosage and infusion rate should be adjusted according to the patient's age, body weight, and clinical condition.

Side effects

• Nausea and vomiting
• Chills and fever
• Vascular pain at injection site
• Skin rashes or hives
• Palpitations or chest pain

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with hepatic coma
• Avoid in severe renal impairment
• Not for patients with hyperazotemia
• Monitor blood glucose and electrolytes
• Monitor for signs of fluid overload
