Dolan FP 100 mg / 5 ml

Indication

For the relief of mild to moderate aches and pains; for other types of pain such as earache or pain after vaccination or surgery; for inflammation from arthritis, non-serious arthritic conditions and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis; and for fever reduction.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 100 mg / 5 ml

Direction

Given orally and may be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Recommended oral dose in children: 5 to 10 mg/kg body weight per dose every 6 to 8 hours, or as directed by a doctor. By age: 1-2 years 5 ml (1 teaspoonful); 3-6 years 5 to 10 ml; 7-12 years 10 ml (2 teaspoonsful). Shake well before using. Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours and not longer than 3 days unless directed by a doctor.

Precautions

• Allergy alert: ibuprofen may cause a severe allergic reaction including hives
• shock
• facial swelling
• skin reddening
• asthma (wheezing)
• skin rash or skin blisters.
• Stomach bleeding warning: this product contains an NSAID
• which may cause severe stomach bleeding.
• The risk of heart attack or stroke may increase if used more than the recommended dose or longer than directed.
