Indication
- Extracellular fluid replacement - Dehydration treatment - Vehicle for drug administration - Management of metabolic alkalosis - Sodium depletion replacement
Ingredients

- Injection site reaction
- Hypernatremia
- Fluid overload (edema)
- Venous thrombosis
- Febrile response at injection site
Precautions
- Monitor for signs of fluid overload
- Caution in congestive heart failure
- Use carefully in renal impairment
- Risk of pulmonary edema
- Regular monitoring of serum electrolytes
