Indication
- Fluid and electrolyte replacement - Hypovolemia and dehydration - Acute blood loss resuscitation - Mild metabolic acidosis treatment
Ingredients
- Sodium Chloride
- Sodium Lactate
- Potassium Chloride
- and Calcium Chloride
Direction
Administered via intravenous infusion. The dosage and rate are determined by a physician based on the patient's age, weight, and clinical condition.
Side effects
- Pulmonary or peripheral edema
- Electrolyte imbalance
- Febrile response
- Infusion site reaction
Precautions
- Risk of fluid overload
- Caution in congestive heart failure
- Do not mix with ceftriaxone
- Monitor renal and cardiac function
