- Fluid and electrolyte replenishment - Treatment of metabolic alkalosis - Wound irrigation and cleansing - Vehicle for intravenous drug administration - Nasal or ophthalmic irrigation
Ingredients
- Sodium Chloride (0.9%)
Direction

- Fluid retention (edema)
- Electrolyte imbalance
- Injection site redness or swelling
- Fever response during infusion
Precautions
- Risk of fluid overload
- Caution in congestive heart failure
- Caution in severe renal impairment
- Monitor for hypernatremia
- Do not use if solution is cloudy
