Indication
- Post-operative wound protection - Superficial wound dressing - Fixation of catheters and cannulas - Waterproof protection of skin - Prevention of friction-related skin breakdown
Ingredients
- Polyurethane film and Acrylic adhesive
Direction
Apply to clean, dry skin. Peel off the protective backing and center the dressing over the wound or catheter site, smoothing the edges to ensure adhesion.
Side effects
- Local skin irritation
- Redness at the application site
- Allergic contact dermatitis
- Skin maceration if left too long
Precautions
- Do not use on infected wounds
- Ensure skin is dry before application
- Single
- use only to prevent cross
- contamination
- Monitor for signs of skin sensitivity
- Not for use on heavy bleeding wounds
