Metro-MS 250 250 mg

Indication

Treatment of amoebiasis, trichomoniasis, giardiasis, and certain anaerobic bacterial infections (Clostridium perfringens, Bacteroides fragilis).

Ingredients

• Metronidazole 250 mg

Direction

Amoebic dysentery: children 30-50 mg/kg/day in 3 divided doses; adults 1.5 g/day in 3 divided doses. Giardiasis: children 15 mg/kg/day in 3 divided doses; adults 750 mg/day in 3 divided doses. Trichomoniasis: adults 2 g single dose. To be taken as prescribed by a physician.
