Starcef 100 100 mg

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections caused by cefixime-susceptible organisms, including infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract, ear, nose and throat. Cefixime is a third-generation oral cephalosporin antibiotic.

Ingredients

• Cefixime 100 mg (as cefixime trihydrate)

Direction

Adults and children weighing 30 kg or more: 50-100 mg twice daily, increased up to 200 mg twice daily for severe infections. To be taken on medical prescription only, with dose adjusted by age, body weight and condition.
