Metro-MS 500 500 mg

Indication

Treatment of amoebiasis (intestinal, asymptomatic and hepatic), trichomoniasis, giardiasis, and certain anaerobic bacterial infections (Clostridium perfringens, Bacteroides fragilis).

Ingredients

• Metronidazole 500 mg

Direction

Amoebiasis: adults 2 g once daily; children 30 mg/kg/day in a single dose. Hepatic amoebiasis: adults 1.5 g per day. To be taken at the start of a meal as prescribed by a physician.
