Indication
- Relief of bronchospasm - Bronchial asthma management - Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease - Exercise-induced bronchospasm prevention - Reversible airways obstruction symptoms
Ingredients
- Salbutamol (Albuterol)
Direction
Administer by oral inhalation. Typically 1-2 puffs every 4 to 6 hours as needed for symptom relief.
Side effects
- Fine skeletal muscle tremor
- Tachycardia or palpitations
- Tension and headache
- Muscle cramps
- Peripheral vasodilation
Precautions
- Cardiovascular disease or hypertension
- Hyperthyroidism or thyrotoxicosis
- History of cardiac arrhythmias
- Paradoxical bronchospasm risk
- Monitor potassium levels regularly
