Indication
- Regular treatment of asthma - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) - Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm - Maintenance of reversible airway obstruction
Ingredients
- Salmeterol and Fluticasone Propionate
Direction
Administer via oral inhalation. Usually 2 puffs twice daily (morning and evening), rinsing the mouth with water after each use.
Side effects
- Oral candidiasis (thrush)
- Hoarseness and throat irritation
- Headache
- Palpitations
- Muscle cramps
Precautions
- Not for acute asthma attacks
- Rinse mouth after administration
- Monitor for adrenal suppression
- Caution in patients with tuberculosis
- Potential for paradoxical bronchospasm
