Indication

- Respiratory tract disorders - Excessive or viscous mucus - Acute and chronic bronchitis - Productive or wet cough

Ingredients

• Carbocisteine

Direction

Administer orally using a measuring spoon or cup. Dosage is typically 5ml (100mg) two to three times daily depending on the child's age and weight.

Side effects

• Nausea
• Gastric discomfort
• Diarrhea
• Skin rash or allergic reaction

Precautions

• History of gastric or duodenal ulcers
• Monitor patients with diabetes (syrup contains sucrose)
• Avoid use in infants under 2 years old
