Indication

- Herpes labialis (cold sores) - Herpes simplex skin infections - Initial and recurrent genital herpes - Herpes zoster (shingles) topical support

Ingredients

• Acyclovir

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 5 times daily, approximately every 4 hours, for 4 to 5 days. Wash hands before and after application to prevent spreading the infection.

Side effects

• Transient stinging or burning
• Mild drying or flaking
• Itching (pruritus)
• Skin redness (erythema)

Precautions

• For external use only
• Avoid contact with eyes
• Not for use on mucous membranes
• Avoid application during pregnancy unless directed
