Indication
- Herpes labialis (cold sores) - Herpes simplex skin infections - Initial and recurrent genital herpes - Herpes zoster (shingles) topical support
Ingredients
- Acyclovir
Direction
Apply a thin layer to the affected area 5 times daily, approximately every 4 hours, for 4 to 5 days. Wash hands before and after application to prevent spreading the infection.
Side effects
- Transient stinging or burning
- Mild drying or flaking
- Itching (pruritus)
- Skin redness (erythema)
Precautions
- For external use only
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Not for use on mucous membranes
- Avoid application during pregnancy unless directed
