Indication
- Urinary tract infections - Respiratory tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Bone and joint infections - Typhoid fever - Chronic bacterial prostatitis
Ingredients
- Ciprofloxacin
Direction
Take orally with a full glass of water, usually every 12 hours. Can be taken with or without food, but avoid taking it with dairy products or calcium-fortified juices alone.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Dizziness
- Abdominal pain
- Rash
- Headache
Precautions
- Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture
- Avoid excessive sunlight or UV exposure
- Use caution in patients with epilepsy
- Avoid antacids or iron supplements nearby
- May cause QT interval prolongation
- Avoid in patients with myasthenia gravis
