Indication

- Urinary tract infections - Respiratory tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Bone and joint infections - Typhoid fever - Chronic bacterial prostatitis

Ingredients

• Ciprofloxacin

Direction

Take orally with a full glass of water, usually every 12 hours. Can be taken with or without food, but avoid taking it with dairy products or calcium-fortified juices alone.

Side effects

• Nausea
• Diarrhea
• Dizziness
• Abdominal pain
• Rash
• Headache

Precautions

• Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture
• Avoid excessive sunlight or UV exposure
• Use caution in patients with epilepsy
• Avoid antacids or iron supplements nearby
• May cause QT interval prolongation
• Avoid in patients with myasthenia gravis
